UPDATED August 27, 2001
We are drawing this event to a CLOSE.....last chance to submit material..... immediately if you want something included

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Jack Montgomery. Jack died on Friday, June 29 in hospital. On the day before he died, he was still telling people about the wonderful time he had in Canberra meeting us all as we arrived. Jack was an inspiration to us and continually urged us to stay with the project. We were not able to attnd his funeral but have sent our best wishes to Elsa, his wife. Donations to Cancer Research are encouraged. Please take time out to read the speech he made to us gathered at the steps of Old Parliament House........

The ride is over! Finally found Di Fielding's final report.......and Pedal Power members home at last

Tail-end Charlie has made it to Brisbane. Read his first report and his Final one

Congratulations to everyone who participated. Keep following this website for further information and stories from the ride. If you have contributions....stories, clippings, photos etc, Please send them to us quickly so we can put them in the archive or publish them in these pages.
